Whats on in London
We shall try and keep here a list of interesting events/activities/random things we like that are happening in London.
Of course there is still our famous “What to do this Weekend” section for something to do.
Underbelly
Check out the upside down big purple cow, that’s normally in Edinburgh for Fringe.. but it makes a mosy down to the Southbank from the 21st April to the 17th of July.
Movie Premieres
Get yourself along to Leicester Square (early) and see a Movie Premiere
- The Eagle is on the 9th of March
Secret Cinema
This happens every couple of months in London. They take over some interesting venue and then show a classic type film in it. While having actors and sets made up like the movie. You never actually know what the movie is until you go to it.
The next Secret Cinema is from the April 15th to May the 8th! (Normally it only goes for a couple days, not sure why this one is going for so long)
The Royal Wedding
Of course one event that it’s a bit hard to forget about is the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton that will be happening on the 29th of April
Here a DUL aren’t even going to point you in the direction of a website, as there are so many out there! As well as so many crazy things you can buy, from face masks, to “royal” condoms, sick bags, and a million mugs (including one that has a photo of Prince Harry on it instead of Prince William..) Ok well if you really want to know, this should be the official wedding website.
